Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 to present. Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her in the role of Jasira Maoun, who is a Lebanese American teenager who is forced to confront a variety of personal problems in connection to the U.S. invaders in Iraq. In the following year, she was named one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of actors to watch in 2007. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime thriller film in which she played a strong female role titled Taslima Jangir was nominated for one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. She has also acted in films such as The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television apart from acting as the co-lead for Lucky 7.
